It has a bit of a learning curve but it comes with an excellent tutorial and manual, which also covers all macOS keyboard-layout basics. When it’s only about key mapping (regular keys and dead keys, not modifier keys), Ukelele is the way to go. You can create your own custom keyboard layouts with Ukelele. ![]()
